Healthy sperm and lifestyle

It is now widely known how much fertility and its disorders affect couples around the world. But is it easy to maintain sperm health?
Researchers at the Mayo clinic conducted a research that focused firstly on what affects and alters sperm quality and subsequently, ways to improve its quality.
More specifically, it is essential for every man to know that his sperm is determined by three factors, number, motility and morphology of spermatozoa. Alterations that occur in any of these factors can lead to infertility.
Men should therefore limit, if not completely cut out, the following:

Smoking
Studies show that smoking causes oligospermia!
Alcohol
Increased consumption of alcohol leads to reduced testosterone production and, consequently, to the disruption of normal spermatogenesis.
Contact with toxins
If your job requires contact with insecticides or other toxins, make sure you wear all protective clothing.
High temperature
Frequent contact of the testicles with high temperature objects such as laptops or the use of a sauna, can cause problems in the normal production of sperm.

Taking into account the above, it is clear that by creating the right conditions it is possible to improve sperm quality.
Diet: Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and limit your intake of red meat. Maintaining a proper body mass index (BMI) helps in normal spermatogenesis.
Exercise: Gentle exercise 5-6 times a week helps maintain proper heart function and a number of other functions, including spermatogenesis.
Stress: Reducing stress levels contributes to longevity, and therefore to reproductive capacity!

It is recommended to communicate frequently with your doctor and follow his advice.
